1. The service and agreement
Amigoomap is a social service for finding people, statuses, and events nearby. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Minimum age and account
You must be at least 16 years old. You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details, and notify us if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Safe and lawful use
You must respect others and applicable law. Threats, harassment, discrimination, fraud, sexual exploitation, illegal goods, identity theft, spam, and publishing another person's data without a lawful basis are prohibited. Do not use the panic feature without a genuine safety need.
4. Content
You retain the rights to your content. You grant Amigoomap a limited, non-exclusive right to store, display, and technically process it to provide the service. You must have the right to upload the content and must respect copyright and privacy.
5. Events and meetups
Users create and attend events at their own risk. Amigoomap is not the organizer and does not guarantee identity, attendance, safety, or quality. Follow local rules, meet in safe places, and use reporting and safety tools when needed.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Price, billing period, and features are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew at the stated interval until cancelled. Cancellation rights, refunds, and termination follow mandatory consumer law and the terms shown during payment.
7. Moderation and termination
We may investigate reports and restrict, hide, or remove content or accounts in response to rule violations, safety risks, or legal requirements. Measures will be proportionate. You can close your account in settings.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care but may be temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes and governing law
Material changes will be announced before they take effect. Norwegian law applies to the extent that this does not limit mandatory rights in your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before a competent court or relevant complaints body.
